After what seems like an eternity Co-Lab is now ready to unleash its next batch of music.To kick things off for the 2007 we are proud to bring you the much anticipated ALTER EGO'S PART 2 from our very own Heist/Strider.
Its been a very busy 12 months for him with debut releases on Metalheadz and Digital Soundboy in the shops right now and soon to be followed by possibly his biggest release yet, a 12" for the mighty Full Cycle in April. And as if that wasn't enough he has also found the time to engineer Goldie's Ruffige Kru lp and write 4 killer dancefloor gems for the next two Co-Lab releases. Does this man sleep ?

With support for HEIST growing in momentum, regular plays on 1XTRA + Movement radio and strong interest in Heists music from VALVE, RENEGADE HARDWARE + GRID to name afew 2005 looks set to be a good year for him. An atmospheric intro done in his unmistakable "calm before the storm" style soon makes way for an onslaught of beats and distorted bass lines that has been getting rewinds in clubs world wide over the past couple of months.

Junior Cartel < aka Tommy Knocker > has been relesing quality laid back DnB on labels such as Defunked, Intercom, Renegade Recordings and Nu-Directions over the past couple of years. He gets regular support from Flight on 1xtra and a whole host of the leading dj's playing this style. He has come correct with an excellent remix, giving it his own soulful touch while not straying too far away from the original elements! One for the heads who love the musical side of things. This was a limited release - only around for a short while on promo/whitelabel! This heavy dancefloor tune has received much attention from many people within the scene. So it'll be released once again (very soon) with a Twisted Individual update to the mix and there's already a Heist VIP mix to do the rounds too!

2003 turned out to be a big year for Heist. Following the success of CO-LAB 001, a debut release for Dillinja's Beatz label under his Strider moniker, and other releases on MEDIA and Nu-Directions, he stepped up yet again for CO-LAB 002.

Crisp well-edited breaks accompanied by rhodes chords bring the flava on the intro! It breaks down to the killer vocal hook "every day of my life" and its infectious funky stabs and guitar licks carry this tune through! Nice enough to listen to at home, fat enough to do damage on the dance floor !

Heist does it once again! Back to his old tricks with those high resonant bass lines and bleepy intro's this tune is strictly for the dance floor and smashes it every time due to its raw and dirty production and grimey grooves. This one definitely packs a heavyweight punch!

Heist is name that you will be hearing alot more of in 2003 and is widely regarded as one of the most versatile up and coming producers in the scene. he has already got releases forthcoming on Planet Funk, Media and Outbreak proving that he can turn his hand to any style of drum and bass.
Co-Lab will be representing all styles of drum and bass and each release will include heavier more dancefloor orientated tune backed with a laid back/funky/liquid style track!
